The root systems of Anemone x hybrida ‘Honorine Jobert’ can be invasive, spreading by suckers. It is easy to create new plants of Anemone x hybrida ‘Honorine Jobert’ by lifting and dividing the clumps.

Cut back stalks after all the flowers have faded and tidy up dead leaves in March. Apply a good 5-7cm mulch of manure or well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant in spring. Avoid moving the plant since it resents disturbance. Where necessary lift and divide congested clumps in early spring.
