- GreenfingersGreenfingers is a small charity dedicated to creating magical gardens for children’s hospices around the UK, providing tremendous benefits to the children staying in the hospices plus their families.
- SIFTSIFT (Seed International Trust Fund) is working with the poor of Nicaragua to help them find their own way out of poverty. Horticultural projects include encouraging 50 families on the island of Ometepe to grow vegetables in their own gardens, so that they can improve their diet. The charity works with three local farmers who are visiting the families and teaching them how to grow their own crops.
