This evergreen shrub has glossy, tapered, dark green leaves. In winter, Sarcococca confusa produces clusters of white flowers that have a very strong, sweet fragrance. Round, shiny, black berries follow the flowers. Sarcococca confusa will tolerate drought, once established if it is grown in the recommended shady conditions.
