George is a professionally trained and fully qualified horticulturist, who is our own resident Gardening Guru. Over the years George has worked at numerous prestigious establishments including the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and Burghley House Gardens in Lincolnshire.

George has lead teams of Botanical Horticulturists and has in-depth experience of every aspect of gardening from producing new plants with a variety of propagation techniques to the maintenance and development of established gardens.

Richard is a qualified Electronic Engineer and holds a PhD in Laser physics and is our resident technical guru / Web Wiz. Over the years Richard has worked for numerous blue chip companies on research and development projects from high powered Laser systems to state-of-the-art, award winning Hi-Fi systems.

Since 2000, Richard's work has concentrated on web systems and software technologies. Richard is Managing Director of the technology company Silicon Bay Limited.

Colin’s background is firmly set in the creative design sphere and he is responsible for the look, feel and ergonomics of the PlantAdvice website. Having originally trained as a technical illustrator, Colin moved into graphic design in the mid 90’s managing in-house design departments for two household names. Colin designed his first commercial web site in 1996 and has seen many changes in web technology since.

His focus since 2000 has been on web design, working closely with Richard on developing user friendly, accessible web systems. Colin is Managing Director of the design company t-morph limited.
