Hello Ann,

Yes, remove the leaf. It will not recover back to a healthy green once it has turned yellow. Overwatering is probable but it could also be a temperature issue. What is the room temperature? Is it near a radiator? How much light is it getting?
My advice at this time of year is to aim for a room temperture of 55-60F, as much light as possible, very little watering (once per week), no cold draughts.

Regards, George.
