Clusters of long lasting violet-blue flowers on upright grey-white shoots in August and September and deeply-cut and lobed grey-green leaves. This deciduous sub-shrub is perfect for a sunny well-drained shrub or mixed border.

  • Garden care: In March cut back to the permanent framework of the plant. After pruning apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant
