The flowers act as a magnet to beneficial insects and hover on upright stems in summer and autumn above the mounds of deep green foliage. This is a rare pink form of Succisa, which looks great in big drifts in meadows and wild planting schemes. It will be happiest in a moist soil that does not dry out in summer, and it will self-seed freely, although the subsequent plants may produce pink or blue flowers.

Garden Care: Resist cutting off the spent flowers if you want it to set seed.
