A fast growing deciduous perennial with sprawling stems that are covered in rosettes of pungent fresh green leaves. Throughout the summer rounded pink flowerheads which look like pincushions attract beneficial insects in their droves. The flowers have a spicy scent and appear for a long period which makes them a worthwhile addition to to the front of a border. Their open spreading habit lends itself well to covering banks and they will also soften the edges of a path in a flash.
