Tall sprays of tiny pale greenish white bell-like flowers on stiff stems above rosettes of deeply lobed dark green leaves. Planted 'en mass' this heuchera makes an excellent groundcover plant for a moist but well-drained site. Best in partial or dappled shade the unusual understated blooms make elegant cut flowers.

  • Garden care: Lift and divide large clumps in early autumn and replant with the crown just above the surface of the soil. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the crown of the plant in spring.
  • Goes well with: Ajuga reptas 'Atropurpurea', Lamium maculatum 'Beacon Silver', Hosta fortunei 'Aureomarginata', Pulmonaria officinalis 'Sissinghurst White', Kerria japonica, Rosa 'King's Ransom'.
