Masses of marvellous magenta-purple geranium-like flowers from June to September and toothed mid-green leaves. This dainty heron's bill is ideal for the front of a sunny herbaceous border with sharply drained neutral or alkaline soil. Where conditions are right it will flower over an extremely long period and self-seed freely.
