Dark pink flowers are produced on this herbaceous Clematis in June and September. It is ideal for growing through neighbouring plants and the flowers are often followed by fluffy silver-brown seedheads. Herbaceous Clematis flower on the current year's growth. If you need to prune, then cut them back to about 15-20cm (6-8in) above soil level in early spring before new growth appears.
