This highly unusual pelargonium is one for the connoisseurs. The notched grey-green leaves are covered in downy hairs giving them a soft silky appearance that will make you want to touch them. They form loose open clumps from which branching wiry stems emerge throughout summer, carrying airy sprays of small bi-coloured blooms. Each flower has three blush pink lower petals and in stark contrast two wine-red upper petals that have a heavy near black splotch at their base. This low growing plant will form a velvety carpet and flower for months on end in a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
