    A mid-sized Romaine with large crisp dense hearts It has a superb taste and an excellent leaf for green salads. It also shows good downy mildew tolerance.

  • Growing Instructions:

    Sow from March to July every 4 weeks for continuous crops. Sow thinly in drills 13mm deep in rows 30cm apart in well prepared soil. in well prepared soil. When large enough to handle thin the plants to 25cm apart and keep well watered for the most flavoursome hearts - this will also help prevent them bolting (running to seed). These lettuce adapt well to variable weather conditions - just strip off the outer leaves from older plants to reveal perfect hearts which will be ready to eat from June to September.
