    A productive late summer to early autumn leek which produces a uniform crop with a good tolerance of leek rust. The delicious long pure white stems are topped with upright dark green leaves and are yummy when combined with potato for a thick and hearty autumn soup.

  • Growing Instructions:

    Sow thinly in Mid March to late April in a prepared seedbed 13mm deep in drills 30cm apart. Transplant when the plants large enough by making holes about 23cm apart and 20cm deep with a dibber or trowel. Drop a plant in each hole and water in well. Allow 45cm between rows. As the plants grow you can mound the soil up around the stems to help the blanching process. They will be ready to havest from September to December.
