Sow from May to July outdoors directly into rich well prepared soil in a sunny spot. Provide support as they grow - either a row or wigwam of 180cm canes or netting. Sow two seeds against each cane 4cm deep and keep them watered especially once flowering commences and add a mulch during hottest dry periods.
