Species originating from Brazil. The potato vine makes an ideal climber for wall covering, particularly over South or West facing doorways for a cottage feel. Will remain evergreen in sheltered spots. Small white flowers with yellow anthers July to November. Self clinging but may require support when large. Prone to mould and aphids. Prune out dead wood in spring.
