This fast growing evergreen or semi-evergreen climber is a member of the potato family (note the flower shape and compare with potato flowers) Solanum crispum ‘Glasnevin’ has a very long flowering period, the blooms are produced throughout summer and into autumn. The flowers are blue-purple with orange-yellow centres, they are fragrant and produced in large clusters. Pale yellow fruits follow the flowers. For best flowering display, grow the plant in full sun on a south-facing wall.
