Grow a giant lily in your own garden. Grow these extra large bulbs in a sunny or partially shaded area at the backs of borders, fences or walls. They can also be grown in large pots and containers The Sky High Lilies may produce more than one shoot from a single bulb and over a few years they should start to look much bigger and look almost shrub-like reaching for the sky at highs of up to 3 meters.

The huge flowers of this gorgeous highly scented lily are mainly white but each petal has a broad golden band down the centre and they are also lightly freckled with crimson spots. A florists favourite, these flowers last well after being cut and look very impressive in arrangements. Plant them in large numbers though as you wil want to keep plenty of them in your borders too.

  • Garden care: Bulbs are best planted in autumn but can also be planted in spring. Plant them 2-3 times their own depth and the equivalent spacing between bulbs.
