Masses of silky-petalled yellow-centred deep red flowers appear on top of the mounds of attractively divided blue-green leaves throughout summer creating an absolute riot of colour. These beautiful bi-coloured Californian poppies look great planted in bold drifts in an annual border, rock or gravel garden and are best planted in poor, well-drained soil in full sun. They make excellent if short-lived cut-flowers.

  • Garden care: Collect seed when ripe and store in a cool dry place until spring or simply let them set seed where they fall in autumn to provide another display in the following year.
