This deciduous tree is primarily grown for it’s attractive foliage, the leaves are split into leaflets that are coloured golden-yellow. The best leaf colour is maintained in full sun. Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’ is usually late into leaf, the young leaves not unfurling until late spring. Mature specimens produce creamy white, fragrant flowers in early summer.
