This evergreen shrub has bright, golden-yellow foliage, the leaves are also fragrant when crushed, producing a rich, spicy smell. To maintain best leaf colour it is recommended that this shrub is grown in full sun. In late spring, fragrant white flowers are produced. Any young foliage can be susceptible to frost damage, so when planting, choose a sheltered site if possible.
