A vigorous upright to slightly spreading plant that will often keep its foliage all through winter although it may take on golden tones in cold weather. It will produce a bumper crop of delicious berries late in the season and is often referred to by the growers as 'the goldbush' because of its high yields. The medium-large light blue fruits have been rated in USDA trials as being one of the tastiest and is described as a having a 'robust blueberry' flavour.
- Garden care: Prepare the ground well before planting. Blueberries can also be grown in large pots and containers if ericaceous compost is used. Prune in winter cutting out dead or damaged branches. In spring feed with sulphate of ammonia sulphate of potash and bonemeal and top-dress with ericaceous compost.
