Acer negundo ‘Flamingo’ can be grown as a tree or a shrub. If you decide to grow it as a shrub it is best to prune it hard every spring. The young leaves of Acer negundo ‘Flamingo’ are tinged light pink, maturing to variegated green and white. The best foliage is produced if some shelter from strong winds is provided.
