Q: Can I sow vegetable seeds that I harvested last year?

The answer to this question is Yes proving you remember the following:
  1. Seeds must be allowed to ripen properly on the parent plant prior to harvesting.
  2. Clean seed thoroughly prior to storage, discard any seeds that do not look perfectly healthy.
  3. Store in an old envelope, do not store in a plastic container as the seed will sweat.
  4. Remember that when you sow the seed you may not get the same plant as a result, you may get an interesting cross!
